I am a J.L Doob Research Assistant Professor at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign since Fall 2018. I am also a Marie Skłowdowska-Curie fellow at University of Copenhagen since Fall 2019 (on leave). In the academic year of 2017-2018 I was an Azrieli postdoctoral fellow at the Technion.

In 2017 I obtained my Pure Mathematics PhD at University of Waterloo, under the supervision of Ken Davidson. In 2013 I completed my M.Sc. in Mathematics at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, under the supervision of Daniel Markiewicz and Orr Shalit. Here is my CV.

I am interested in functional analysis, operator theory and operator algebras, with a view towards applications in other areas of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science. In my work I bring new operator techniques to bear on problems in dynamical systems, random walks, convex optimization, quantum information theory and non-commutative geometry.
