I am a senior lecturer at the Department of Mathematics at Haifa University. Before that, during 2019-2021 I was a Marie Skłowdowska-Curie postdoctoral fellow at University of Copenhagen, from Fall 2018 to Spring 2021 I was a J.L Doob Research Assistant Professor at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and during 2017-2018 I was an Azrieli postdoctoral fellow at the Technion.
In 2017 I obtained a Pure Mathematics PhD at University of Waterloo, under the supervision of Ken Davidson. In 2013 I completed a M.Sc. in Mathematics at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, under the supervision of Daniel Markiewicz.
I am interested in functional analysis, operator theory and operator algebras, with a view towards applications in other areas of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science. In my work I bring new operator techniques to bear on problems in symbolic dynamics, semigroup and group theories, random walks, non-commutative convex geometry and quantum information theory.
