Starting Fall 2021 I will be an ERC postdoctoral scholar at WWU Münster. Since Fall 2019 I have been a Marie Skłowdowska-Curie postdoctoral fellow at University of Copenhagen. From Fall 2018 to Spring 2021 I was a J.L Doob Research Assistant Professor at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. During the 2017-2018 academic year I was an Azrieli postdoctoral fellow at the Technion.
In 2017 I obtained a Pure Mathematics PhD at University of Waterloo, under the supervision of Ken Davidson. In 2013 I completed a M.Sc. in Mathematics at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, under the supervision of Daniel Markiewicz and Orr Shalit.
I am interested in functional analysis, operator theory and operator algebras, with a view towards applications in other areas of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science. In my work I bring new operator techniques to bear on problems in dynamical systems, random walks, convex optimization, quantum information theory and non-commutative geometry.
